Was in the area for a wedding, and had no idea where to go. Then I saw it. A small establishment with a lot full of cars, normally a sign of good food, and they didn't disappoint. The house coffee special at the time (pecan), delicious. The menu has plenty of options and the quality as well as the portions are perfect. Do your self a favor pop in and enjoy a great experience!

Great little place for breakfast. We were camping at James Island park. Great service and awesome food. Will stop in again before we leave. Inexpensive food with style!

So where to start? We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and the service was great. Now there is a caveat, this is not a fancy eatery. My girls ordered the Sugar Pecan Pancakes and the Sausage Gravy and biscuit. Each really enjoyed and stated that is what they were craving and "hit the spot". Please see pictures! The biscuit and gravy was also ordered with two eggs over easy. Both looked awesome. Now to mine. I ordered an old favorite. The Crab Cake Benny(a.k.a. Crab Cake Eggs Benedict), and a bowl of grits with cheese and two over easy eggs. I failed and didn't get a picture the after of the empty plate and bowl. The crab cakes were fresh and gave off a seafood scent. It was a very delicious meal. The grits are very creamy. I believe they make all of their sauces and toppings in house. Because of COVID, I have missed this place, so great that I get to be back.

Cute casual diner right of Folly road! I enjoyed brunch here - the food was delicious and the service was excellent! The portions are huge so if you are coming here be sure to come hungry! We tried the meat lovers omelet and the biscuit and sausage gravy. Both were good but the biscuit and sausage gravy was delicious definitely a must try!

My friend and I stopped in at Sweetwater Café one morning for breakfast while visiting James Island. The place looks more than a little divey at first glance, but after we put aside our first impression we concluded that the food is excellent, the menu offers a broad range of well-priced and tasty dishes, and the service is outstanding! We were seated promptly when we arrived by a very welcoming, friendly waitress with a big smile that never seemed to leave her face throughout our visit. When our food arrived at was piping hot, extremely tasty, and nicely prepared using what were obviously quality ingredients. The portion sizes were very generous as well :-) Even though there was quite a crowd by the time we finished our meal, we never felt rushed and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. Highly recommended!
